Match Multiplication contains answers from 1-100. Two and two tiles match, so that for instance 4 x 3 and 6 x 2 will make a Match. Since the tiles contains only calculations and not answers, the abstraction level is raised, and the students’ memory span is being exercised.

It might be a good idea to pick out only a few tiles when you are introducing the game, for instance just the answers from 2-20. This is also a great way to adjust the game to weaker or stronger students. This way the weaker students could play with answers from 1-49, while the stronger students play with answers from 50-100.

Match Multiplication can be mixed up with Match Addition, Match Subtraction and Match Division in order to practise skills across the four basic arithmetic operations.

Match Addition, Match Subtraction, Match Multiplication and Match Division make up the first series of Match-games.
